Negroni 內格羅尼

Traditionally this classic aperitif calls for equal parts of ingredients.

Ingredients 材料

45 ml Gin 氈酒/琴酒

20 ml Sweet vermouth 紅苦艾酒

5-10 ml Campari 金巴利苦酒

(Optional) 5 ml Nordes Gin

金巴利其實是甚麼?

Garnish 裝飾

Orange twist 橙皮

Tools 工具

Jigger 量杯 , Bar spoon 吧羹 ,

Mixing glass 混合杯 , Strainer 隔冰器

Glassware 酒杯

Rock Glass 短飲杯


 

Steps 步驟

❶ Chill the rock glass & prepare garnish.

將酒杯雪凍,預備裝飾

❷ In a mixing glass, measure and pour in Campari, sweet vermouth and gin.

於混合杯中加入氈酒,苦艾酒及金巴利

❸ Taste & adjust bitter & sweet balance. Add ice and stir to chilled.

試味較對甜回甘平衡加冰拌勻至冰凍

❹ Strain and pour into the chilled glass with a large block of ice.

混合杯中隔冰倒入已加大冰的短飲杯

❺ Over the drink, twist orange peel to express oil, then use the peel as garnish.

將橙皮於杯上輕壓噴上橙油香氣,並用作裝飾

Sweet, bitter and herbal, the classic version of this Italian aperitif cocktail calls for equal parts of gin, Campari and sweet vermouth.

Your mileage may vary, but I use a tad more London Dry gin to feature the juniper and less Campari bring forth the aromatics in vermouth.

Sometimes I lace the drink with a bar spoon of a really fragrant gin like Nordes for that hint of floral notes.
