Sweet honeydew balanced by tart lemon, with a hint of orange, this fun and fruity, liqueur-based cocktail is mellow on alcohol. Bols Melon Liqueur is my go-to honeydew liqueur as I like a heavy-handed melon flavour, but the traditional choice of Midori is just as yum.
20 ml Melon liqueur
20 ml Cointreau
25 ml Fresh lemon juice
Maraschino cherry or melon wedge
❶ Chill the coupe glass and prepare garnish.
❷ In a shaker add all ingredients.
❸ Add ice and shake vigorously for about 12 seconds.
❹ Strain into the chilled glass.
❺ Twist lemon peel to express oil into the drink. Discard the peel.
❻ Garnish and serve.
